You’ll probably learn more about me—my past, my goals, my ideas—from reading my writings, but since you’re here…

I used to teach people how to explore, in the sky, underwater, up mountains; through each other. Today, my aim is the same, I use words as the experience. My seminal work, “Be-Long” never fully formulated into a manuscript, and still sits in an ever growing ‘to-do’ pile of my writings. That idea grew into the initial www.leetwest.com, where I wrote 100 blog posts in 100 days, expanding my hatchling concepts. Nobody really spent any time reading them, but that’s probably for the best.

After gaining some confidence that my thoughts were, in fact, interesting, I transitioned my efforts to Substack under the publication ourGlass, and spent a year posting 100 longer articles. These evolved into increasingly poetic content, eventually inspiring a serialized fiction novel named “Goo.” That work will eventually continue here. As I entrenched my efforts in the digital literary world, however, I found my fragile mind more and more dissociated and demented. It felt like a disease, an addictive one. I chose to suspend work online and begin handwriting a new novel, labeled it “To Be Determined,” and have plans to complete the manuscript by years end 2025.

I continue, between these projects, to produce opinion pieces, blog style informational content, poems, and short stories. All of that you will find here, in no particular order or frequency. Welcome to the chaos. Enjoy your ride.
